Tomb Sweeping Day

Please take the next 10 seconds to pray this prayer for the working class people of Taiwan.

April 4th is Tomb Sweeping Day.  On that day, most Taiwanese working class will gather the whole family to clean the tombs of their ancestors and worship them.  They will also bow and offer incense to their dead ancestors.  Those who refuse to do so will be viewed as unfilial and disobedient to their family.  It may cause great conflict between Christians and their family members.

God our Father, who created the whole world and all mankind, may You help the Taiwanese understand that You are their Father.  You command children to obey their parents in the Lord so that it may go well with them, and they may enjoy long life on the earth.  Give the Taiwanese a heart of reverence for Christ as Lord.  Help them to always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks them to give reason for the hope that they have.  Most of all, help them to do this with gentleness and respect.  (Ephesians 6:1-2; I Peter 3:15)

Please ask your church, bible study, small group, cell group, family and children to pray this with us and you will be joining thousands of people around the world in asking our Father to bring His good news to the working class people of Taiwan. Please relay this to those who can join us in prayer.
