Matzu pilgrimage

Please take the next 10 seconds to pray this prayer
for the working class people of Taiwan.
April 6-13 was the annual pilgrimage of worshippers of Matzu, the goddess of the sea. Thousands of people participated in the actual pilgrimage and thousands more worshipped the goddess as she passed through their towns. This is in preparation for her birthday on April 28th, when there will be even larger scale celebrations. Pray especially for the Christians in those areas, that they would be salt and light to the Taiwanese working class.
Father, we pray that the Taiwanese Christians would take Your words seriously, that they are salt and light to a dying world. We pray that they would let their light shine before the Taiwanese worshippers of Matzu so that they may see their good deeds and praise Our Father in Heaven rather than praise false gods. (Matthew 5:13-16).
Please ask your church, bible study, small group, cell group, family and children to pray this with us and you will be joining thousands of people around the world in asking our Father to bring His good news to the working class people of Taiwan. Please relay this to those who can join us in prayer.
