Economic Growth

Please take the next 10 seconds to pray this prayer
for the working class people of Taiwan.
During Taiwan's tremendous economic growth in the 1970's and 80's, many people thought that the better economy and higher incomes would contribute to the decrease of Taiwanese religious fervor and open the door for the Gospel. However, the opposite has occurred. As time goes by, it is evident that more and more money is being invested into even more extravagant religious festivals and parades, drawing people further away from the One True God.
Father, may the Taiwanese working class be drawn closer to You despite the increase in idol and ancestor worship, for, "The heavens proclaim Your righteousness and all the peoples see Your glory. All who worship images are put to shame, those who boast in idols--worship the Lord, all you gods! For You, O Lord, are the Most High over all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods." (Psalm 97:6-7, 9)
Please ask your church, bible study, small group, cell group, family and children to pray this with us and you will be joining thousands of people around the world in asking our Father to bring His good news to the working class people of Taiwan. Please relay this to those who can join us in prayer.
